Midt-Week Blues . . .
.
Beer-prayer
*
Our lager,
Which art in barrels,
Hollowed be thy drink.
I will be drunk,
At home as in the tavern.
Give us this day our foamy head,
And forgive us our spillages,
As we forgive those who spill against us.
And lead us not into incarceration,
But deliver us from hangovers.
For thine is the beer.
The bitter and the lager
Forever and ever,
Barmen.

Hammer: He is a good friend of mine from another blog I used to have. We are still in contact. He's also from Norway, moved to Spain.
He made this "paryer" to friend of both of us. I liked it so much...

Pop into his blog and enjoy his creativity of writing.

Hey my uncle used to say that prayer. When he wasn't passed out that is.

Funny - would have been excellent for St. Paddy's day.

There is a similar poster in a bar downtown. It says something like.

"Booze, for thousands of years helping people have sex."

Ironically, it's true.

I'll copy and send that to a very good, beer-drinking friend of mine!! He'll get a kick out of it!
